JOB DESCRIPTION - aSSISTANT PROPERTY mANAGER

Part time: 24 hours per week

Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking a part-time contract Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This role offers flexibility in terms of working days and hours, which can be discussed and agreed upon upon successful hiring. The position requires visiting properties, conducting inspections, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience in our luxury homes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining properties to meet guest expectations, proactively addressing feedback, coordinating maintenance and cleaning tasks, and managing various applications on your phone while on the go. You will also have the opportunity to interact with A-list celebrities, athletes, social media influencers, and other prominent individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Property Management: Oversee property operations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with current regulations. Prepare quotes and invoices, manage relationships with cleaners and suppliers, and coordinate tasks with the support of our offshore team.
  2. Guest Services: Be the first point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, troubleshooting, resolving issues, and managing escalations. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
  3. Inspections and Reports: Conduct regular property inspections, prepare tenancy condition reports, and ensure properties are “guest-ready” for arrivals.
  4. Administrative Support: Assist with various tasks such as new property photoshoots, maintenance appointments, access facilitation, and inventory management.
  5. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintain professional and effective communication with guests, owners, suppliers, tradespeople, and other stakeholders. Handle dispute resolution and oversee guest reviews and feedback.
  6. Flexibility and Teamwork: Collaborate with a diverse team, supporting and motivating colleagues when needed. Be ready to assist in different areas based on business requirements.
  7. NSW Fair Trade STRA Fire safety requirements

Required qualifications and experience

  • Full driver’s license and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Access to a car.
  • Technologically savvy or willing to learn various applications used within our business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with changing tasks and priorities.
  • Previous experience in the short-term accommodation industry and property management is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with the short-term accommodation market and understanding of guest interactions.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of urgency.
  • Resilient and able to work well under pressure.
  • Current Certificate of Registration in Real Estate (preferred).
