7 Rooftop Bars in Brisbane to Ascend to This Summer

Join every office worker ever in rejoicing for the fast-approaching summer. We don’t care which country you come from: Australia is looking sunny for these Christmas holidays, and what better way to celebrate a full-on year than with the most luxurious bar hopping you’ve ever done in your life. We are talking about the famous rooftop bars of Brisbane, and here are a few of the best:

Soleil Pool Bar

French for the word ‘sun’, Soleil will see you soaked in golden rays as you enjoy the summery ambience of a poolside bar. Sprawl yourself across huge pool toys sipping margaritas while the DJ spins the night and day away.

Eleven

Talk about panorama-drama: Eleven gets a good reaction from everyone who enters its doorway. Bar guests are greeted with a phone-pic-snapping vista, delighting one and all with wondrous views extending from the city all the way to the mountains. This bar’s signature cocktail is called the Beefeater Gin, and it is insane.

Elixir

Like the chinese folk tale of the white rabbit that brews elixir amid the stars, bartenders will be brewing your elixer of choice all evening long in this super contemorary Rooftop bar. The bar is glamourously decorated with a pleasant amount of greenery bejewelled with fairy lights. It’s like Christmas for adults…perhaps even more magical.

Limes

If you’re on the hunt for a starlit summer’s night escape, then look no further than Limes. Movies are rolling for customers to relax and watch while spas bubbling away and beckon your toes to take a dip. Oh and the best part: you can order a round of ‘Hot Tub Wine Machines’. We won’t spoil those for you…but trust us when we say that you need to put ‘em on your Australian summer holiday ‘to do’ list.

Up on Constance

Nestled atop the Tryp Hotel in Fortitude Valley, this bar’s sneaky hidden entrance way can be found down a graffiti-lined alleyway. Enter a Willy Wonka inspired glass elevator and ascend to a rooftop bar brightly coloured with sleek 70’s glamour. Our cocktail recommendation for this bar would be the ‘The Pelican Hotel’.

Eagles Nest

Perched proudly like a majestic eagle in the skies of Kangaroo Point, Eagle’s Nest rooftop bar is the place to go for anyone who digs a sweet view while they sip their wine. This sophisticated, swish spot overlooks the CBD, and specialises in iced beverages.

Dandy’s

Unlike its glitzier counterparts in this blog, Dandy’s is a heck of a lot more casual: but that’s why we love it. Think ‘typical Australian backyard BBQ bar, but add some snazzy lights, sounds and sensational home-brewed beers.
