What We Love
Set back from Ocean Street South on a quiet stretch of Bondi, this five-bedroom home opens onto a private courtyard framed by towering palms and a private pool, an unexpected patch of green in the middle of the beachside grid. The facade gives way to a light-filled interior of high ceilings, timber floors and a run of skylights that carries natural light through every level.
The ground floor moves easily between a bay-windowed living room built around an open fireplace and full-height bookshelves, a dining room set for eight beneath a sculptural pendant light, and a well-equipped kitchen with gas cooktop, oven and dishwasher. Sliding doors connect the courtyard to the living area, creating a light-filled space.
The ground floor also holds the master suite, a generous room with a walk-in robe and ensuite fitted with dual vanities and a spacious shower. Two further bedrooms sit off the same hallway, one set up with a bunk for younger guests, the other with two singles convertible to a king. Both bedrooms share the main bathroom with a free-standing half bath.
