What We Love

Nestled in a quiet corner of one of Sydney's most beloved suburbs, this three-bedroom terrace combines mediterranean character with a relaxed, well-considered interior, blending high ceilings and warm timber floors with a thoughtfully curated mix of natural textures and coastal charm, making it the perfect haven for those looking to experience Bondi like a local.

Step inside and you're immediately met with an inviting mix of old and new - a cream linen sofa anchors the room beneath a wrought-iron chandelier, a tiled fireplace adds atmosphere, and a statement zebra-print rug and arched mirror bring a touch of personality. Rattan accent chairs, lush indoor greenery, and a woven pendant lamp complete the look. The space flows easily into a separate dining area, where a round glass table and woven timber chairs sit beneath their own chandelier, perfectly set for evenings in.

Beyond the living areas, the kitchen is practical and well-equipped with white shaker cabinetry uppers, dark lower cabinetry, stone benchtops, gas cooking, a dishwasher, and a microwave. A second living room at the rear of the home, a cosy, sunlit nook with a sage sectional sofa, globe pendant, and bold abstract artwork, offers a quieter retreat away from the main entertaining spaces. Step outside to the private courtyard, surrounded by trees and bathed in afternoon sunlight and bird song, a private plunge pool surrounded by terracotta tiles, whitewashed rendered walls, potted palms, decorative panels, and a hammock to swing in on a lazy afternoon. The three bedrooms are each comfortable and well-presented, the master with a queen bed and ensuite, a second queen bedroom offering a calm retreat, and a third with two single beds that can be converted to a king and opens onto a private balcony with comfortable seating. Laundry facilities are conveniently tucked into the powder room.

New Street sits in a quiet pocket of Bondi, just a short walk from one of Australia's most iconic stretches of coastline. Bondi Beach is roughly five minutes on foot, and the surf, sand, and the buzzing Campbell Parade strip are easily reached without a car. Hall Street, home to some of Bondi's best cafes, restaurants, and boutiques, is a short stroll away, as is the Saturday Farmers Market at the Bondi Pavilion. The suburb has a genuinely local feel despite its popularity: a mix of long-term residents and beach lovers keeps things grounded and unpretentious.

The Neighbourhood

  • Bondi Living The suburb has a genuinely local feel that goes well beyond the postcard image, independent shops, weekend markets, a thriving cafe culture, and a community that takes its morning ocean swim seriously. Bondi Road, running through the heart of the neighbourhood, is lined with boutique stores, bakeries, and streetside dining perfect for an easy afternoon wander. Whether you're after a surf, a yoga class, or a long lunch, this part of Sydney has a rhythm that's easy to slip into.
  • Cafes & Dining Start your morning at Sundays Bondi on Bondi Road, a pint-sized micro-bakery already a neighbourhood favourite, known for its oozy cinnamon scrolls and creative matcha drinks that sell out daily. The Grumpy Baker is a much-loved local institution offering freshly baked sourdough, buttery croissants, and slow-braised meat pies, grab one and take it down to the beach. When only fresh fish and chips will do, Bondi Road Seafoods has been serving locals for over 35 years with no-fuss BYO dining and some of the freshest barramundi, oysters, and calamari in the area. For a special occasion, Totti's on Hall Street delivers vibey Italian dining in a leafy courtyard, and for sundowners, the bar at Icebergs, perched on the southern headland, is hard to beat.
  • Beaches & Parks Bondi Beach is just a 15-minute walk away, a broad, golden stretch of sand with reliable surf, patrolled swimming zones, and the iconic Bondi Pavilion anchoring its centre. Tamarama Beach, a 10-minute walk south along the coastal path, is a smaller, quieter cove popular with local surfers, with a grassy park behind it ideal for a post-swim picnic. Marks Park sits on the headland between Bondi and Tamarama, offering panoramic ocean views, shaded lawns, a children's playground, and a prime vantage point for whale watching from May through November.
  • Day Trips The Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk is one of Sydney's great half-day experiences, six kilometres along dramatic clifftops past Tamarama, Bronte, and Clovelly, finishing at Coogee with its ocean pools, cafes, and the beloved Coogee Pavilion. For a different kind of day out, Bondi Junction is a short bus ride away, offering Westfield shopping, boutique stores, and easy train access to the Sydney CBD and Circular Quay. Whether you're after coastline, culture, or city energy, New Street puts you in the perfect position for all three.
