What We Love
Directly opposite Manly Cove, this two-level apartment pairs an stunning beachside location with generous interiors and distinctive architectural details. Pale timber floors, crisp white walls and original exposed brickwork set the tone, while the Norfolk Island pines frame views across the water. Spread across two levels, the home balances open, light-filled living spaces with quieter retreats, all within easy reach of Manly’s beaches, dining and village life.
The main living area opens into a striking sunroom dining space, where windows on two sides capture the harbour outlook. In the lounge, a deep sofa and gas fireplace create an inviting place to settle in, while the dining room centres on a long concrete-topped table beneath glass globe pendants. Built-in glass cabinetry, a wine fridge and bar cart add refined touches to the space. The kitchen features a gas cooktop, Smeg appliances, timber finishes and an exposed brick wall, with a breakfast bar. A door opens onto a private balcony, extending the kitchen outdoors.
Upstairs, the main bedroom sits beneath a high raked ceiling, with sliding doors opening onto a private balcony overlooking the cove through the pines. A separate sitting retreat, furnished with a daybed and armchair, offers a peaceful place to read or unwind, with windows framing the treetops. The second bedroom follows the line of the sloping roof and can be configured with twin singles or a king bed, with direct access to the main bathroom. On the entry level, the third bedroom offers additional privacy and convenient access to the second bathroom.
The main bathroom features a freestanding oval bath beneath a window, a separate walk-in shower and a timber-topped vanity. Downstairs, the second bathroom pairs a walk-in shower and vessel basin with crisp white tiling. Ceiling fans provide added comfort throughout.
Manly brings together the best of Sydney’s coastal lifestyle, from the calm waters of the harbour to the surf and open sands of the ocean beach. Norfolk Island pines line the foreshore, lending the neighbourhood its distinctive character, while the surrounding village offers a vibrant mix of cafés, restaurants, boutiques and local essentials.
