What We Love

Perfectly positioned just moments from village cafés, pubs, parklands and just 2km from the CBD. Located in one of Sydney's Inner West most connected pockets, yet tucked away behind a discreet frontage offering a peaceful and safe stay. Walking distance to convinces of booth street and buses/light rail.

From the moment you step inside, the home feels light, spacious, and effortlessly refined. Full-height glass draws your eye straight through to the courtyard, while warm timber floors and soft white walls create a sense of quiet ease throughout the two-level design.

Downstairs, the living, dining, and kitchen areas connect seamlessly in one open, flowing space. The living area is centred around a large sectional sofa, complemented by a statement coffee table, oversized wall-mounted TV, and a reading chair tucked into the corner. Large sliding doors extend the space outdoors into a private courtyard framed by ivy-covered white brick walls and enclosed with a glass roof that brings in beautiful natural light. Underfoot, stone paving anchors an outdoor dining setting for six, a cushioned lounge area, and a BBQ an ideal place to unwind in the evening.

Inside, the dining area features a solid timber table seating eight beneath a pair of brass pendant lights. The adjoining kitchen is designed for longer stays and easy entertaining, complete with white shaker cabinetry, stone benchtops, a Miele oven, induction cooktop, dishwasher, full-size fridge, and a Breville espresso machine is already set up on the bench for slow mornings at home.

Upstairs, both bedrooms are accessed via a carpeted staircase with a glass balustrade. The master bedroom features a king bed dressed in crisp white linen, built-in wardrobes, air conditioning, a sculptural pendant light overhead, and a balcony that overlooks the leafy Annandale rooftops, a quiet spot for a morning coffee or an evening wind-down. The second bedroom includes a double bed, its own built-in robe, and air conditioning. Both bedrooms have double block out & sheer linen curtains, allowing for a restful night’s sleep while still letting in plenty of natural light during the day.

On the same level is a dedicated home office fitted with a full-size desk, monitor, storage, and printer, making the space equally suited to longer stays or working remotely.

The upstairs bathroom is a standout, marble benchtops, and bronze tapware. A deep bathtub sits beneath wall-mounted taps, alongside an overhead rain shower framed by seamless glass.

The Neighbourhood

  • Cherry Moon on Nelson Street is the neighbourhood bakery of choice, organic sourdough, excellent coffee and the kind of pastries that make a slow morning worthwhile. Go on a weekday if you can; weekends get busy for good reason.
  • The Annandale Hotel on Parramatta Road is a proper Sydney pub: beer on tap, solid gastro meals and a relaxed room that does not try too hard. It is the kind of place you end up staying longer than intended.
  • Booth Street is the local high street, cafes, a bottle shop, a providore and the kind of convenience stores that actually stock what you need, all within a ten-minute walk. Glebe Point Road is a short walk further and opens up a wider spread of restaurants, bookshops and the weekend market at Glebe Public School.
  • Johnstons Creek Reserve follows the canal from Annandale down toward the Bay, a pleasant walk that takes you past the dog park and out along the Rozelle Bay foreshore. Bicentennial Park and Blackwattle Bay are reachable on foot if you want to push further.
  • The new Sydney Fish market is only two stops on the light rail or a 5 minute drive by car.

Getting Around

  • Public transport: Bus routes 370, 412 and 413 stop nearby on Parramatta Road, connecting directly to the Sydney CBD in under 20 minutes. The Jubilee Street light rail stop is a short walk, with services running through the inner west to Central Station and beyond.
  • Uber: Rideshare services are readily available in Annandale at any time of day.
  • Car share (GoGet): GoGet car share pods are available on surrounding streets a good option if you prefer not to bring your own car. Cars can be booked by the hour, day or week via the app.
