What We Love
Positioned in the heart of Double Bay, just moments from the harbour foreshore, this remarkable two-storey residence delivers the feel of a private resort with the convenience of a luxury home. Featuring a solar-heated pool, self-contained pool house, infrared sauna, and double garage, it offers an unrivalled blend of space, privacy, and lifestyle in one of Sydney’s most sought-after harbourside suburbs.
The open plan kitchen, dining, and living area runs across the ground floor and opens directly onto the covered terrace and garden through full-width bifold doors. The kitchen is dressed in white cabinetry with stone benchtops, a waterfall edge island with black tapware, gas cooktop, pendant lighting, and integrated appliances. The dining area seats six with garden views on three sides, and the living room is generous and calm, dressed with deep linen sofas, a statement ring chandelier, and large windows. A powder room on the ground floor serves guests, and the laundry is neatly concealed behind louvred doors with stacked washer and dryer, marble splashback, and its own sink.
All three bedrooms in the main home are positioned across the upper level. The king master suite has floor-to-ceiling corner windows overlooking the pool and garden canopy, its own sofa for a private reading or lounging spot, and an ensuite finished in full marble-look stone with dual vessel basins, dual ceiling-mounted shower heads, and a heated towel rail. A second queen bedroom features burl-wood built-in wardrobes across an entire wall and its own ensuite bathroom with a freestanding oval tub, timber vanity, and stone-look tiles. The third bedroom has a double bed with timber floors, a study area, and a garden outlook. The fourth bedroom is the self-contained pool house: a double bedroom retreat beneath a thatched roof with its own kitchenette, terrazzo-tiled bathroom with a shower and pedestal basin, its own entrance and direct access to the pool area, and complete privacy from the main home.
Outside, the pool deck is the centrepiece. The solar heated pool with cobalt blue mosaic tiles is lined by a timber deck furnished with multiple sun loungers, a cantilever umbrella, and a shaded daybed cabana. The rear terrace under an automated louvred pergola is set up for year-round entertaining with a large outdoor dining table and a separate lounge setting. The Goldstein gas BBQ with timber cabinetry and stone bench sits off the lawn. And tucked beside the pool house, a Sunlighten infrared sauna adds a wellness dimension you rarely find in a short-stay property.
Double Bay is one of Sydney's most walkable neighbourhoods. Challis Avenue and Knox Street are lined with quality dining from Matteo to Targy's and Catalina for a longer evening. The Bay Village precinct has a Woolworths, boutiques, and coffee from the likes of Three Williams or a quick bite at Bovine and Swine. Double Bay beach and Steyne Park are a short stroll to the harbour foreshore, and the Sydney Ferry from Double Bay Wharf connects directly to Circular Quay in around 15 minutes.
